I really enjoy photographing food and drink - if you've spent more than 5 minutes on this website, you already know that I'm a generalist and find satisfaction in the creative process of communicating the image. I have a few subjects that I truly enjoy the creative process -- food is high on that list. Food is an exceptionally difficult subject, and so critical to light flawlessly. Glasses must hold an edge light yet be transparent -- cold food must appear cold, and hot food hot. Texture and color are so critical to an appetizing image. Add that to the fleeting nature of fine food, you must work efficiently or your beautiful appetizers will wilt before you get your shot.

This image was taken at NoRTH, an Italian restaurant in Tucson.
